This blog is designed as a tool to capture and share teaching and learning ideas. Behind our classroom doors there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise, a myriad of ideas and a plethora of activities. With my eyes firmly focused on ‘teaching and learning’ my aim for the next twelve months is to simply, ‘look and learn’. That is, to join practitioners in their classrooms, observe their ideas in practice, gain feedback from students and teachers and then…most importantly…to share these ideas with other practitioners. The best in-service training is not to attend a course but to learn from colleagues – I hope that this blog will seek to provide this opportunity for all our staff, both teaching and support, and will encourage them to contribute to the pages to make them richer and come alive with learning ideas.
